About the STARS Trainers

Washington State Dept. of Early Learning has new requirements for STARS training, as well as new regulations for trainers and training accountability.  Claudette and Debbie will be helping us meet new state standards for online STARS training, and enforcing that students are obtaining adequate levels of assessment on their training. 

We are proud to say that our online Child Care Basics training was designed to meet all state requirements for online STARS courses.

Debra Hasbrook, M.Ed.

Debbie is an advanced level STARS trainer through Washington Dept. ofEarly Learning MERIT.

Debbie is a full time trainer on staff with Successful Solutions. She has worked with children and families for 37 years. In that time she has been a home provider, teacher, director, Regional and State conference presenter and Adjunct faculty at a number of colleges in Washington State. Her education includes a Master of Education, Montessori Preschool Degree and several certifications. 

Claudette Lindquist, HD M.A.  

Claudette is an advanced level STARS trainer through Washington Dept.of Early Learning MERIT.

In addition to being a trainer on staff with Successful Solutions, Claudette is also a full time faculty member at Heritage University. She has over 25 years experience in early childhood education both as a teacher and as an administrator. Her education includes a Master’s Degree in Human Development. Her extensive professional career has included previously being a director at child care centers, a child care licensor in South King County, a college ECE instructor at Pacific Oaks College, and a grant coordinator.
